Every year the world of sales hits a few speed bumps. These are enemies whose only goal is to disrupt and dismantle your activity and weaken your sales.
There are too many enemies to name in this short message, but none are as relentless as distractions. This is bigger than the agency’s production goals. It’s about protecting the customer’s family and supporting yours at the same time.
10 Deadly Distractions
- March: Spring Break, it’s here, and you need to prepare for it NOW.
- May: Memorial Day weekend
- June: The kids are out of school
- July 4th it’s party time!
- July / August: The customer’s family vacation
- July / August: YOUR family’s vacation
- August: Kids are back in school
- September: Labor Day weekend
- November: Thanksgiving Holiday Break
- Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday Break!
Distractions won’t magically disappear. It isn’t about getting rid of them but navigating through them! Get ready! I see the “catch me after Spring Break push-off” in your future, my friend. Consider getting some verbiage in place now and practice it so that you can encourage a sense of urgency to move now as opposed to later.
Your customers depend on you to protect them and their families. There’s nobody better at that than you!
